Cheryl has some strange things growing in her garden. This is part of a Clematis plant, way past it’s prime.
Many years ago, we wondered if it would ever spread. Well, it did!
I could have posted a picture with about 10 people standing in front of their booth, but I wanted to show Paula, John, Ashley and some of the stuff on the wall. They do business eleven hours a day, four straight days at the Walnut Valley Festival.

My favorite glass is the one with the beer in it.
Alamosa is about as far as I like to drive if I’m taking the southern route to the San Juans or other points west. The Lamplighter Motel is decent, and I love the complimentary breakfast at the adjoining cafe (salsa). The train yard is about 4 blocks away.
